Infinality Patches - 2012-06-16
======================================================

This should patch without errors to Freetype 2.4.10.  See the files themselves 
for the changelog.  Visit infinality.net for more information and a 
forum.

Fedora users should run these commands instead of installing these files 
manually:

sudo rpm -Uvh http://www.infinality.net/fedora/linux/infinality-repo-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
sudo yum install freetype-infinality fontconfig-infinality libXft-infinality

Patches
=======

freetype-add-subpixel-hinting-infinality-20120616-01.patch    - Subpixel hinting patches.  Apply first.
freetype-enable-subpixel-hinting-infinality-20120403-01.patch - Enable subpixel hinting.   Apply second.
freetype-entire-infinality-patchset-20120615-01.patch         - All other infinality enhancements.  Apply third.





Settings
========


fontconfig-infinality  - Customizable configuration for fontconfig.  Variables
(separate download)      in infinality.conf can be used to dramatically affect the
                         settings to look like different OS styles.  See README
                         inside fontconfig-infinality zip file.


infinality-settings.sh - Environment variables that need to be set.  This is 
                         the place to fine tune the rendering.
                         Suggested to save this file as:
                         /etc/profile.d/infinality-settings.sh


freetype-infinality.sh - This script will set the LD_PRELOAD environment
                         variable.  Suggested to save into /etc/profile.d/
