Description:
The MariaDB software delivers a very fast, multi-threaded, multi-user,
and robust SQL (Structured Query Language) database server.
MariaDB Server is intended for mission-critical, heavy-load production
systems as well as for embedding into mass-deployed software.
The mariadb server is compiled with the following storage engines:
- Aria Storage Engine
- Archive Storage Engine
- Blackhole Storage Engine
- CSV Storage Engine
- FederatedX Storage Engine (Federated replacement)
- Heap Storage Engine
- MyISAM Storage Engine
- MyISAMMRG Storage Engine
- Partition Storage Engine
- Perfschema Storage Engine
- XtraDB Storage Engine (InnoDB replacement)
The following extra storage engines are provided by the
mariadb-extra package:
- Sphinx Storage Engine
The following storage engines are provided in the
mariadb-obsolete package:
- InnoDB Storage Engine
