A library wrapping  at Prelude at / at Data.List at  functions that can throw
exceptions, such as  at head at  and  at !! at . Each unsafe function has up to four
variants, e.g. with  at tail at :

*  at tail :: [a] -> [a] at , raises an error on  at tail [] at .

*  at tailMay :: [a] -> /Maybe/ [a] at , turns errors into  at Nothing at .

*  at tailDef :: /[a]/ -> [a] -> [a] at , takes a default to return on errors.

*  at tailNote :: /String/ -> [a] -> [a] at , takes an extra argument which
supplements the error message.

*  at tailSafe :: [a] -> [a] at , returns some sensible default if possible,  at [] at
in the case of  at tail at .

This package is divided into three modules:

* "Safe" contains safe variants of  at Prelude at  and  at Data.List at  functions.

* "Safe.Foldable" contains safe variants of  at Foldable at  functions.

* "Safe.Exact" creates crashing versions of functions like  at zip at  (errors if
the lists are not equal) and  at take at  (errors if there are not enough
elements), then wraps them to provide safe variants.
